There's nothing worse to interrupt your fun weekend than a stomach bug, but when it hits, you just roll with the punches (and clean, clorox, wash hands, repeat). But before we get all germy, let's start with Saturday, which was gorgeous. We started the morning with the Soccer Shots party. "Soccer Shots" is a nationwide youth soccer program, and we are going to enroll Payton in January, so we wanted to find out a little more about the program. They were having a party on Saturday morning, and we went. Bounce-houses (could have been the culprit?), face painting, and soccer skill instruction by the coaches. Throw in tons of kids and parents, and you have a party! We made some new friends, and met some coaches, Payton listened to instructions and tried her best to follow them. Griffin had a BLAST. I can't wait to get him started this summer! Here's a glimpse of the fun...
That afternoon and into the evening, our best friends, the Boughmans, had their annual "Beer B Q" party. What's better than beer, BBQ, kids, dogs, kickball, and lots of friends surrounding you? A great time was had by all, and I couldn't believe our kids stayed up, happily and behaving, until we left around 10pm! Thankfully, we gained an hour Saturday night!

Payton has had a time with pottying accidents lately. When Nana and Granddude were here, last week, she had FOUR accidents that day. On Saturday at the party, she had two. I think she gets so into what she's doing that she doesn't want to stop to find a bathroom, and obviously the wet pants must not bother her. We'll keep trying!
And I had the joy of going to meet our friend's new, squishy baby, "Braxton" last week. He was born on Halloween! So precious...and what a handsome family they make!
And here are the kiddos the past weekend, doing what they do best: being silly!
So, back to the sick stuff...7am Sunday, into our room walks the little blonde girl. Hopped in bed with us, and Brian noticed a "scent." After further investigation, Payton had vomited in her bed, and on the floor, and by the time Brian got her back into her room, she did it in the toilet. It was a day of rest for us all...and then Daddy got it Sunday night :( As of Monday morning, we are all well, and crossing our fingers that all the germs have taken a hike. We did find out that Granby had it pretty bad on Sunday :( Here's our little Sweet P yesterday....
And here she was, on Monday morning...I'm thinking she feels MUCH better! Little diva!
