The past week was a slow one, for once...Payton "rode" Callie, and we went swimming several times, as we need to take advantage of the pool while the weather is still warm. Payton is "swimming" awesome, as she kicks her feet and moves her arms, I let go of her in the water, and she "swims." She is floating on her back almost on her own. We had some friends over this weekend, and Payton had a chance to show off. Her other friends were also great swimmers. We cooked out with everybody, and the kids all played together. Leah, Justin, and Kinley Burroughs, and Julie, Kevin, Riley, Gavin, and Morgan Kreutzer came over Saturday afternoon. We had a blast in the pool, and hanging out later. Morgan loved holding "baby Payton" and Kinley had a "sleepover" with Payton in her room, although it was for a short time. Sunday we went to Hickory Tavern with Matt, Walker, Gracie Thompson, Becki Hoker and her friend Eric, and Shiela and Thomas. Payton was overwhelmed with all the TV's-she had no idea where to place her focus, but she was in heaven! She hung out, loved being passed around, and when she got tired, she fell asleep in my lap. It was SO cute! Then after a good, real nap at home, Auntie Miss, Uncle Jon, and Sam came over for football and dinner. It was a great weekend, as most of them are :)
