Since the big 3rd birthday...

...both kids were sick (at separate times), they went in the lake for the first time this spring (or is it still winter?), Nana and Granddude came to visit and keep the kids, we've had many visits with friends, and we went to our friend's "FamJam," in Fort Mill.  I'll be updating this site again this week, as time allows, to show the beautiful pictures of a gorgeous couple, Jill and Stevan, who were married on Saturday evening. For now, here are a bunch of pictures of our recent adventures.

Our sick girl spending the morning at Mommy's office
Crashed out...I had to wake her up after an hour and a half to pick Griffin up from MMO

Yes, the water is cold, but after the numbness sets in, it's not too bad.

Helloooooo, ladies!

She didn't seem to mind though.

She needed to pee.  So she did what she knows...pulled down her bottoms and let it fly.
A sleeping princess (Juliet Kennington)
Mattie McKinney (5) and Payton to complete a Callie sandwich

Payton (3) and Carter Kennington (6.5)

He gave her "Roxy" for her birthday

The three amigos
Our girls

Julie McKinney, Me, Stonie Kennington

Look at that sweet smile!

The kids were winding down, choosing to play with iPhones instead of a movie.  My how times have changed!

Brian, Christopher Kennington, and Mike McKinney

The kids stayed up until 10pm!  You can tell they are quite tired, but refusing to let it go.

Saying good night!
My office assistant...he had a 103 fever the night before, so he couldn't go to school.  He was fine all day, but when night rolled around, so did his fever.  Poor little guy.  Cough and fever for a couple of days.

In Mommy and Daddy's bed...the only place he would sleep
Payton tailgating with Daddy's friend, Jace Amodeo.  They went to the first ever pre-season football game!  Payton came home saying "GOooooOOOoo Niners!"  Mommy needs to brainwash her back to what we all know is correct..."GoooOOOoooOOOo HEELS!"
When Daddy gets home, the fun begins!

So, at 20 months, this little guy knows his ABC's and can recognize, and say, most of them.  Pretty cool.  He counts like this:  1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 17, 18, 19!  We're working on that :)  This isn't the best he's done, but it's all I've captured so far, of him singing his ABC's.  He actually says them pretty clearly now (but skips L, M, N, O)...

Every (pretty) afternoon and evening, we've been taking walks around the neighborhood.  Griffin was taking a turn pushing baby "Roxy" in the stroller.

Watch while Griffin asks to take a walk...and boat ride (which might just be his favorite thing ever!)

Taken on "Earth Day."  So sweet.

Dandelions!

Payton wearing pink for Libby Jones (3 years old)...who was diagnosed, and is being treated, for ALL Leukemia, one of the most common types of cancer in children.  Please keep Libby, and her family (Josh, Barb, and baby brother Will) in your prayers!
I stepped out of the bathroom for one second, and came back to this.  Griffin was so excited to get into the pink bathtub water, that he forgot his clothes were on!
Showing us his breakfast.  These kids keep us on our toes!

At FamJam, petting the animals

This little guy pitched a FIT when the ride stopped.  He wouldn't have gotten off all day, if we didn't drag him!

All smiles!

She's electric!

Fishy face!  Getting his first face painting...

Many afternoons, it's a struggle for me to keep the kids up until naptime, if we're on a long drive.  If Payton falls asleep, for even only 10 minutes, you can forget an afternoon nap, once home.  This particular day, I was trying to keep Griffin awake...we were SO close to home.  Don't worry, I was paying attention to the road, while recording.  It was WAY cute!  Happiest sleepy baby I've ever seen.
Doggie breath in the morning makes you want to have good oral hygiene!  (Payton likes me to call Callie on her bed in the mornings to help wake her up...she thinks it's funny, but still doesn't get up easily!)

Pretending to use my flat iron.  The odd thing is, she's never, ever seen one.  She did pretty well considering!

Next up...Jilly and Stevan's beautiful wedding!!
